Over the years, Clapton has continued to churn out hits while also showing the versatility and musical ability to collaborate with artists of various genres. Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” is one of the most emotional and heart-breaking songs ever recorded. His first solo hit, “Layla,” turned out to be just the beginning of an incredible solo career that has survived the test of time.
